Rebuild Bad Credit Report Tips:

If you are trying to rebuild bad credit reports, make sure you are checking all three credit reports often. This gives you valuable information about your current creditors and what they are reporting for your credit report.

One option would be to order a free report in January, one about June, and one in December. Consumers are entitled to three free credit reports each year from the official credit report website. Another option is to apply with a company that lets you monitor credit reports whenever you need to check them.

Rebuild Bad Credit Report Tips:

* Always make bill payments on time, when you don't it causes

bad credit reports. This is one of the most important things you

can do to rebuild bad credit.

* Don't apply for too many credit cards and loans, it causes

inquiries into your credit report. Only apply when you need a

credit card or loan. Using a credit card can help rebuild bad

scores over time by paying on time.

* Apply for a secured or instant approval credit card for bad credit

to increase the chance of getting approved and make payments

   on time.

* Don't owe more than 30% of your credit limits as it can reduce

   your credit scores.

* Don't apply for department store cards just to get a discount,

applying could lower credit scores. Use a regular credit card

   instead.

* Review your reports often to monitor for fraud and negative

information that may not be true. Always correct information

   that is not correct.

* Never close credit card accounts or other accounts that have

reported good payment habits on your credit reports. You want

this type of information on your credit report.

Credit Report Tip: July 29,2010 Even with all the fuss over credit reports, many people do not know what their credit history says about their credit. One thing is for sure, when people keep getting turned down for loans or credit cards, there is probably something negative on the credit report.
